	What is Rotational Injury? Imagine a right hook to the side of your head from Mike Tyson. The head turns sharply, the brain rotates within the skull and that's what leads to rotational brain injury. It is the main cause of brain damage in boxing and the main cause of brain damage in motor cycle accidents. It is unleashed when the helmet ricochets along the road, twists sharply and the brain rotates within the skull causing, blood vessels and neurons to rip apart
