Eddy Wright started the company in 1978 and became one of the biggest multi franchise companies in the UK in the 1980s. Now specialising in Harley-Davidson and Triumph marques with a large stock of top quality used machines.
We offer a huge range of dealer facilities, fully staffed by enthusiasts who either ride or race.
Eddy himself is an ex-sidecar road racer, having raced in the T.T. at the Isle Of Man, International Grand-Prix's and has won many awards including the sidecar championship, Eddy can be found from time to time on the shop floor in the Harley-Davidson shop.
Eddy's son Douglas is the general manager for all non Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the TRIUMPH DEALERSHIP. His Triumph store has a large selection of used European Italian and Japanese motorcycles in stock. there is also a full range of Triumph motorcycles and demos available at the dealership.
We are a family run business and are here for you, not for the manufacturers so we try to help the best we can to ensure all our customers get the attention and respect they deserve.
EDDYS RACE TEAM.
Currently racing the the Britsh Formula 2 FSRA championship,
Douglas (Manager) and Dipash (Accessories and Clothing) form the Double D's.
With an extremely successful 1st year racing they won the FSRA newcomers award and finished 3rd in the Auto66 championship with no worse result than 4th all year.
2006
We started this season on a new Shelbourne HONDA 600RR.
In 2006 we have participated in the FSRA clubmans rounds, and have won a couple and had some high finishes amongst the supers.
2006 also saw our first road race. We participated at the Isle of Man Southern 100 Road races. We managed best newcomers and a 6th place finished which we were well chuffed with.
Other 2006 highlights include a 4th first time at Olivers mount with Auto66. Pole position on race A at the Festival with a 3rd place finish. And several wins in lots of different club events all over the country including Donington with Derby phoenix. We also won the best clubmans lap with the FSRA.
All in all a fabulous season, and a great confidence boost to the both of us.
2007
EDDY's back.
After a few years aout of formula 2 sidecar racing Eddy has made a return. with new passenger Martin Hull , the team Eddys Duo have been racing in the Super formula 2 FSRA motostar championship.
So now there are 2 teams

Team EDDYS Double D's
Douglas Wright & Dipash Chauhan
Dips and Doug have moved up too into the super formula 2 and now are holding 7th place in the british championships.
The next few weeks brings us Olivers Mount on bank holiday Monday, and also the Isle of Man TT races in which both teams are competeing. Maybe EDDY's experience will pay off and get team Eddys finish above EDDY's Double D's for the first time.
Thats it sidecar racing is something neither of us will give up for a long while, it's in our blood.
